Strip club
A strip club is organized around stage or floor entertainment, drinks, and optional one-on-one paid dances or private areas, depending on the venue and local law. The performer-customer relationship is commercial even when the attention feels personal.
Cover charges, drink prices, dance prices, tipping customs, and private-room structures vary widely. A customer should not assume that one payment includes something that was never stated.
Hostess bar
A hostess bar is organized around paid social company. Customers may buy drinks, time, or another venue-defined unit in exchange for conversation and attention from a hostess. The exact format changes by culture and business.
The central product is company rather than a stage performance. That does not turn friendliness into dating or create an obligation outside the venue.
Fichera bar

Paid attention is still bounded by consent, house rules, time, and the stated format. Ask ordinary questions about published prices, decide your limit before spending, do not photograph anyone without permission, and accept every boundary immediately.
